LIFE DRAWING

Here's more life drawing. With this pose i first did a rough drawing to get the gesture of the body, then a loose, but more confident drawing, adding some tone in greywash/ Not sure why i drew the shadow on the wall with black instead of grey, but i think it somehow works.

Nice,

How long do you get for each pose on average for your life drawing sessions?

Het Stephen,

starts off with a few 5 minute drawings then works up to 10, then 15 minute ones. I think this was a 10 minute one.

This is great. I love that her left leg is thicker than the rest of her combined, makes for great weight and mass. All of these life-drawing bits and bobs have been great.

Great figurework. I think the thing that most people don't think about is the time you're given to do these. Not like working from a photo.

After all my blab about only working on a mac I've realised I actually need to draw again. Going to lock myself away for a while with pad, pens and no mouse.
